Mick Hutchings & Matthew Ashforde

The Soundworks is run by Mick Hutchings and Matthew Ashforde.  They both have many years of professional experience in the audio and acting worlds so they are able to offer you a wealth of technical and artistic advice.

We do not employ freelance engineers or producers, so when you start a project with us, we work with you until it's successful completion.

Mick Hutchings is a professional recording engineer, producer & musician.  He has many years of studio experience including sessions at Good Earth (Tony Visconti) and Abbey Road studios.  
He has worked with hundreds of musicians, singers and voice artists and his work has been broadcast by BBC, ITV Channel 4 and Sky. He also plays guitar and has performed all over the UK and Europe at events such as the Brecon Jazz and Cambridge Rock festivals.

Matthew Ashforde is a professional actor whose credits in Theatre & television are many & varied, including roles in the West End and National Theatre along with several Off West End & regional venues. He has played roles in television programmes for all the major channels. Matthew has also directed several professional productions in Theatre's across the UK. Matthew also regularly teaches performance classes & audition technique at The London School of Musical Theatre.
